California Irish

A seven-piece collective from Belfast, led by Cormac Neeson and Donal Scullion, California Irish blend rich harmonies, soulful musicianship, and the sun-drenched spirit of Laurel Canyon’s golden era through a modern Irish lens.

Their debut album The Mountains Are My Friends was recorded entirely on analogue 16-track tape, producing warm, organic soundscapes. Featuring members of The Answer, No Oil Paintings, and The Vibes, they’ve earned a reputation for authenticity, captivating stage chemistry, and storytelling-driven performances. Their single Julie Ann was shortlisted for Single of the Year at the Northern Ireland Music Prize.

Matt Benson

With over 120k Spotify plays, features on Jazz UK playlists, and appearances on UTV Life and RTE Radio 1’s Arena, Matt Benson is quickly establishing himself as one of Northern Ireland’s most compelling singer-songwriters.

From a fire-bombed Belfast music shop to Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, his debut album Sit Back Down Again blends vintage R&B, New Orleans brass, and cinematic storytelling, exploring grief, growth, barroom romances, and supernatural characters through warm horns and weathered vocals. Expect a soulful, narrative-rich performance that’s equal parts heart and showmanship.

Tribal Ting

A Kenyan-Irish producer, instrumentalist, and singer based in Belfast, Tribal Ting fuses jazz, Afro beats, house, soul, and funk into a genre-defying, globally inspired sound.

Raised between two continents, his music blends African rhythm and soul with Europe’s electronic pulse. Influenced by Fela Kuti, Jamiroquai, James Brown, and James Blake, Tribal Ting creates music that moves body and spirit — from danceable grooves to meditative, reflective moments — showcasing a modern, forward-thinking approach to global sounds.

Daisy Johnston

21-year-old singer-songwriter from Belfast, Daisy Johnston has already made waves with her debut single Electric Butterflies and EP Maiden Name (June 2025). Combining powerful, soulful vocals with introspective, heart-driven lyricism, Daisy takes listeners on an emotional journey. Recently featured in the Belfast Output Festival’s Showcase for emerging artists, her intimate and honest performances reveal a unique voice in Northern Ireland’s contemporary singer-songwriter scene, blending raw storytelling with captivating melodies.
