Experience

Throughout the last decade Shindig have been involved in creating and establishing the multi award winning Newcastle Community Cinema (British Film Society of the Year 2013 & 2014), renowned for its exceptional programming, immersive cinematic experiences as well as its dedication to servicing the local community.

Since its inception in 2009 the volunteer led charity has gone from strength to strength and 2014 moved into its very own venue at the heart of Newcastle and is now thriving despite the adverse effects of the pandemic.

The Shindig team are also behind the hugely successful LOL Comedy Club, an initiative which began as a open mic comedy night in the back of a pub and grew into a thriving comedy club boasting international comedians such as Patrick Kielty, Reginald D Hunter and Rich Hall to name a few, as well as giving debuts to a wealth of Northern Irish talent including Colin Geddis
